Connecticut
So we have been struggling with the decision on where we would like to live/work. We have a good friend that lives in CT, so we decided to go visit him and interview with a few offices. The area we would live is only 1 and 1/2 hours from New York City! The trip was short but fun. On our descent into the the Bradley International Airport Brynda looked out the window to see rolling hills full of red, orange, green and yellow. For those of you who didn't know, CT is the most heavily wooded state in the United States. Thanks Tyler, for letting us stay with you.

Rodeo in the Desert
We went to a rodeo in some town south of Tucson, but north of Mexico. Ryan's boss, Dr. Toepke and a few of his friends were going to compete in a wild horse race. In the race, they have a wild horse with a rope around it's neck. The horse is released and the "snubber" wrestles the horse to the ground using the rope and twisting it's ear....I know it sounds crazy. Then the next team member saddles the horse, and the last guy tries to ride the horse to the opposite end of the arena. It was fun to watch. A lot grown men thrashing around with a horse, a couple of dislocated shoulders and sprained backs.

That's my boat in the background.

Check out that Boston Skyline!
Good thing Ryan grew his right arm back in time to be a Dentist!

Beautiful flowers from Ryan
Flew to Seattle to see my parents, and took a trip up to the Young's beautiful house at Whidbey Island. Whidbey Island in August is a dream come true.

The incredible Eyre Family visits Whidbey! Had a blast making Crab Louie Salad (thanks for catching the crab Ana!) and hearing all about their world travels.

Jonah and Ana know the best way to get hard-to-reach black berries that no one else can reach!

Also this month ... Jake and Jenna are having a girl! So excited for a niece!
